The Lakeshore Community Center was recently designated by the State’s Office of Greenways & Trails as an official Trailhead for the Rail Trail. For visitors riding bicycles, the Center, on the north shore of Lake Monroe, is easy to reach by bike ride on the new Lakeshore Loop Trail that connects to the Rail Trail at Thornby Park and Green Springs Park.
